Eckhart Tolle is right about that. Spiritual enlightenment is the discovery of your true identity, which of course can not be found in your mind. Your true Self is the incomprehensively vast awareness from which the mind arises, and it can be felt if not blocked by thoughts, stories, beliefs and opinions.
More than that, however, when your true Self is consciously placed in charge of your life, extraordinary openings often appear; openings which at times are so unlikely and beautiful they seem like miracles.
It does not help to believe what we are saying here, even if you can feel the ring of truth that empowers these words. What is needed instead is to experiment within your own conscious awareness; then as you awaken to the truth of your Being your beliefs will not be needed. You will know the truth and you will be that truth. In fact you already are.
Many people are not yet ready for the possibility of miracles that often unfold when someone spiritually awakens and puts the Self, which is another name for God, in charge of their life. Some are, however, and if you are one of them please join us. You will be with a few other like-minded people.
Self discovery is inner work and we provide time for that. We recognize that each person walks their own path at their own pace. We will provide a few pointers and practices and good books with more pointers. And we will facilitate group meditations and group discussions. But mostly you will have time.
There will be time for meditation, time to read, time to walk on the beach, time to be still and time to do a few simple exercises in your own conscious awareness.
There is a fearless, powerful and loving place in your heart that has never been harmed and can not die; to discover that is to realize your true Self. It can be found by looking deeply within while dropping all stories about who you are and what you are.
What we are talking about is spiritual enlightenment. It is the secret to life, the same “secret” Eckhart Tolle points us toward when he says in his seminal book The Power of Now that “The secret to life is to die before you die - and find that there is no death.” He goes on to say, in the same book, “…the single most vital step on your journey toward enlightenment is this: learn to disidentify from your mind.”

We created these retreats because our heart's desire is to support those sincerely willing to allow the Self to operate through them, as them. To realize the Self and allow the Self to be in charge of one’s life is the greatest pinnacle one can achieve in life, and it is the greatest gift one can give to the world.
You may call the Self by any name that is comfortable for you, such as God, Allah or The Radiant One Life (ROL for short) which is my name for the Self. The name used is not important.
What is important, regardless of the name used, is your openhearted willingness to have the infinite love and unfathomably vast intelligence of the Self take over your life and run it for you.
So that is what we are all about. And you are invited.
We’ve spent several years making our coastal properties into beautiful places for our spiritual awakening retreats. Each person, couple or small group that joins us on “on property” at a retreat will have their own suite with a private entry, a private bathroom & shower and a kitchen or kitchenette.
Local accommodations are available for those who are not staying on the retreat property.
